Yay, it's been a while since I updated (with something meaningful at least).
One week to go until the Leipzig Bookfair and I'm not that in mood for cosplay right now.
But the feeling grows with every part of my cosplay that gets finished.
Here some pictures:

These were the blanks of Kaname's shoes when I bought them today - 6,95 € - yay! ^__^v
I thought I would never find any suitable shoes for her. The pink is too bright, actually, but I don't care... because, somehow it looks awesome. Woah and that's said by me, a pink-hater :D
It was pretty embarassing to obtain them, to be honest.
I never had problems buying weird stuff for cosplays. When I got my corselette to sew a breast-binder, it was kinda normal, compared to that.
But oh damn I felt so... uncomfortable today. I hid in a corner of the men's section to try the shoes on... just when 2 kinda cute guys appeared. >_> They looked at me, then at the shoes and I could almost hear the "WTF?!" in their heads.
I mean, I was giggling all the time, too. Lol pink shoes... bought by me. Amazing. I felt totally like a... bird (english slang word for "Tussi") and even the seller who looked like the casual disco-girlie checked on me like... "Why the hell are you buying shoes like those, bitch, huh?!"
Uhm.. anyway, this is what became out of them, when I was done putting white acryl onto them:

They're so totally "Kaname", I swear. :D
Hohoho and I couldn't resist to try them on... together with the skirt I finished some days ago:

Yeah! >___< \m/ It's gonna rock!
Actually I wanted to sew Kaname's blouse today, but I decided to learn some Japanese and do the shoes. Good choice, I guess.
Muah! I hope the blouse will not become a problem, since I never sewed puff sleeves before, but I have a cool tutorial. Let's see.
Hrm... I guess I won't be able to redo Cloud, since I only noticed, that I'd have to sew his leather gloves again and I'm so NOT in mood for gloves, honestly. XD"
Anyway... that's my teaser. I'm looking forward to the LBM and to seeing some of you guys there.
Will be there all the days, so let me know, when you'll be around.
Ah.. btw I'm in the Cosplay Jury again... so on Saturday and Sunday I will be found at the stage set in HALL 2 from ~12 p.m. - 2.30 p.m.
Take care. <3

it so suck that the CC is not open for cosplayers <_< fuck this shit. so you're gonna have a stage in HALL 2? that's so non-exclusive ;_; mean book fair guys.

The shoes look better after you've put white on them, though. ^^
I'm curious how the whole cosplay looks, are you gonna post some pictures later? ^^
