... and now, finally, I've found the time to write an entry about the Connichi aaand my week :)
Friday, last week, Alex and me went by train to Kassel. Actually everything was fine and we were almost about to think "THIS time, Kassel won't be bad" (last Connichi 2005 was just horror concerning the town itself). When we rode the bus and ended up in completely another part of Kassel, where a big hotel like "Best Western Queens" would never be situated, I started feeling weird. BUT a super super super nice man, we asked for information on the way, just said: "Wait a sec! I will take you to the hotel!"
Alex and me were simply stunned - SUCH nice people exist, they really do. I'm still amazed.
~ 10:45 p.m. we reached the hotel, went to the reception desk - the man there was super friendly and said: "We want to check in - blah."
One second later I was about to kill a certain person - and I still am.
A "friend" of mine, who I knew for 3 years now, booked the hotel for us, cause she wanted to stay with us... there. The last three months I didn't hear from her, her animexx was dead, so was her e-mail and mobile phone. Because she moved I didn't have her current address. I even phoned people at her latest hometown to find out, where she disappeared - nothing. I phoned the hotel one week before Connichi and asked if the room was still booked - answer: YES, all is okay.
Now to the funny fact: SHE cancelled the booking on the hotel on Thursday evening - got half of the money back and well, we stood there without a place to stay, without the money. YES! I LOVE KASSEL!
I guess this town holds a curse for me xD;
Hmm anyway the man from the reception desk ordered a new hotel for us and even a taxi to get there - super friendly. But I was still pissed. I never was betrayed by a friend like this - I never did anything bad to her. I was there when anyone else said, she was a bitch and now... THANK YOU, C.! I hope your ass will burn in flames!
Dammit - there's even no possibility to accuse her, because the lawyer would be much more expensive than the money we lost. FACK!

But I learnt something: Only pay and book stuff for yourself.
Next year will be better.
After that shitty beginning, Connichi went quite good, actually.
Saturday's group cosplay was AWESOME! :)

I met loooots of people I haven't seen in a long time or never until that day. THANKS for the time we shared and aaaah *whine* for the few seconds I had with certain people. I guess some of you I need to visit on private meeting, cause conventions usually don't give a chance to talk properly ^^°

I was really frightened because I never did a callcenter job before and usually I hate it to talk to unknown people on the phone. This week we had practise session and learnt how to deal with the program, got knowledge about all the offers and pay-scales our energy-company has.
The colleagues are super nice... My head just met the desk, when we were asked about hobbies and stuff and ALL people answered: GAMING! (or RPG or Anime/Manga). We are a bunch of freaks, there. LOVE IT!
Hah, next week I will start taking the calls - aaaah~~ I'm still nervous but I hope everything will go well *wishes*
What else to say?
I learnt not to put a bra without a special surrounding bag into the washing machine. Why?
My favourite bra.. DIED!

Hmm auf animexx in meinem Cosplayprofil sind noch einige mehr. Es wurden so viele Fotos gemacht, aber ich finde die meisten nicht bzw. haben mich ganz oft ältere Herrschaften fotografiert, von denen ich nicht annehme, dass sie die irgendwo hochladen xD;
